When you're working through a questionnaire in Answer Studio, you can attach a supporting document to any individual response. That document will be included in the exported output folder when you're done.
This is useful when a specific response needs backup for that particular questionnaire. For example, if a prospect asks about a deal you closed with a similar company, you can attach that case study directly to the answer.
Keep in mind that attachments added here are one-off. They apply to this questionnaire only and won't carry over to future uses of that answer.
How to Attach a Document
Open Automate Questionnaires in your 1up dashboard.
2. Click on the question you want to add an attachment to. This will expand the response panel. At the bottom of the panel, click Attachments.
3. A Manage Attachments window will open showing documents already uploaded to your 1up account. Search or filter to find the file you need.Check the box next to the file(s) you want and click Save.
4. The attachment will now show up at the bottom of that response as 1 Attachment.
What Happens on Export
The attached document will be bundled into the exported output folder along with your completed questionnaire.
Note: Attaching the document via Automate Questionnaires applies only to that specific response and will not be saved to your Knowledge Base or added to future responses automatically.
If you want a document to always go out with a particular answer, attach it at the Knowledge Base level instead.
