Ask about Questionnaire lets you chat with a questionnaire the moment you upload it. Before you run a full automation, you can get a quick read on what is inside the file and decide how you want to handle it.
How it Works
When you upload a questionnaire, 1up does a fast pass over the text in the file. Once that pass finishes, an Ask About This chat opens up right in the upload window. From there you ask questions in plain language and get answers about the contents of that file.
This works on the text inside any file you upload, whether it is Excel, Word, or PDF.
Step 1: Upload a questionnaire
Head to Automate Questionnaires and click Upload Questionnaire in the top right. Choose the questionnaire you want to work with, just like you normally would.
You can only upload a blank Excel, Word, CSV or PDF questionnaire for 1up to answer, or install the Browser Plugin. Click Continue.
Click Upload to browse questionnaires from your computer and select one. Then click Open.
Step 2: Click Ask About This
Inside the upload window you will see a new Ask About This button. Click it and a chat window opens next to your file.
Step 3: Ask your questions
Use the chat the same way you would use any other chat in 1up. Type a question, press send, and 1up answers based on the contents of the file.
A good first prompt is:
Summarize this file with the most important details
What topics does this questionnaire cover?
What sections are included in this document?
Are there any security or compliance questions in here?
Step 4: Get quick insights about the questionnaire
1up does a quick review of the uploaded file and provides answers based on your query.
Good to know
Ask about Questionnaire uses a quick read of the file, which is why it responds so fast. It’s great for getting a summary and a feel for the contents.
Because it is a quick read, it will not give you an exact count of how many questions are in the file. For the full breakdown and generated answers, run the file through questionnaire automation.
