1up connects to YouTube so you can add video transcripts to your Knowledge Base. You can paste a public video URL, or connect your YouTube account to pull from your own channel. 1up only ingests the videos you select.
Add a public YouTube video
Log into your 1up account and select Knowledge Base.
2. Select Add Knowledge on the top right.
3. Select YouTube from the Add Knowledge popup.
4. Review the note about content selection and click Confirm to connect YouTube. 1up will only connect the YouTube content you specifically select.
5. Paste the URL of the public video you want to add.
6. The video transcript is added to your Knowledge Base and 1up can pull from it to answer questions.
Connect your YouTube account
Follow steps 1 through 4 above to open the YouTube window.
Select Connect to YouTube.
3. Choose the email account linked to your YouTube channel and sign in.
4. Review the permissions 1up is requesting and select Continue.
5. Select the videos you want to add to your Knowledge Base and click Upload.
6. Once uploaded, the transcripts appear in your Knowledge Base and 1up can pull from them to answer questions.
Note: Videos without transcripts will not be added to your Knowledge Base. In the event that they don’t, you will receive the message below.
