How to use 1up in Google Chat
There are two ways to talk to 1up:
Direct message the 1up app to ask questions privately.
Add 1up to any space and tag @Ask1up for responses inside shared conversations.
1up will use your Knowledge Base to answer questions about product, processes, security, compliance, and anything else you’ve uploaded.
Controlling what 1up can answer
You can customize which knowledge sources 1up is allowed to use. In your 1up dashboard, go to Settings → Google Chat Settings. Here, you can choose which Tags (knowledge sources) Google Chat is allowed to use for responses.
For example:
Include Security, SOC 2, or InfoSec content to make those answers available.
Include Sales assets or Product Docs that help your team respond to customer questions.
Exclude sensitive or internal content you don’t want showing up in Teams.
These filters determine exactly what 1up can reference when generating answers in Google Chat.
