Seismic

1up provides an integration for Seismic. Once connected, you can browse your Seismic library and choose exactly which files get added to your Knowledge Base.

In 1up, go to Knowledge → Add Knowledge → Seismic.

You'll see a confirmation screen explaining that you control which content gets added. Click Confirm.

Enter your Seismic tenant. This is the subdomain that appears before .seismic.com in your Seismic URL. Click Connect.

Sign in with your Seismic credentials. If your organization uses single sign-on, you'll be taken to your provider's login page.

Once you're connected, 1up confirms which account is linked. Click Browse content.

You can return to this screen at any time to disconnect your account.

Browse your Seismic libraries and folders to find the content you want, or use the search bar at the top to look across everything.

Check the files you want to add and click Upload.

1up will only ingest the files you explicitly select. Nothing else from your Seismic library is added to your Knowledge Base.

Most Seismic libraries contain archived folders and older versions. Leave those out so they don't appear in your answers.

Your selected files appear in the Sources tab with a Seismic icon so you can see where each one came from. Files begin processing on upload, and once the status shows Ready, 1up can generate answers from them.

Click + Add Tag on any file to organize it. Tags control which sources 1up draws from for different channels and use cases, so tagging your Seismic content lets you set up a dedicated Slack, Teams, or Google Chat channel that only pulls from these files.

Uploading adds a copy of each file as it exists at that moment. Edits made in Seismic afterward do not carry over to 1up.

When a file changes in a way that affects your answers, upload the new version and remove the old one from your Knowledge Base. Pricing sheets, security documentation, and product specs are worth reviewing most often.
