Connect your Linear workspace to bring issues into your 1up Knowledge Base. Linear is an issue tracker, so you browse by project and select the individual issues you want. Nothing is added unless you select it. Once an issue is in your Knowledge Base, 1up tracks changes made to it.
Before you start
You need access to a Linear workspace.
You need permission to add knowledge sources in 1up.
Connect your Linear workspace
In 1up, go to Knowledge Base from the left sidebar.
2. Click + Add Knowledge in the top right.
3. In the Add Knowledge window, find Linear under the Add section. You can also type "Linear" into the Search bar.
4. Read the note about content selection, then click Confirm.
5. Click Connect to open the Linear authorization window.
6. On the Log in to Linear screen, choose your sign-in method: Continue with Google, Continue with email, Continue with SAML SSO, or Log in with passkey.
7. Select the account you want to use and click Continue to grant Linear access.
8. Review the permissions Linear requests, then click Continue.
9. On the You have access to these workspaces screen, choose the workspace you want to connect. If you aren't a member yet, click Join and complete Linear's profile and team setup prompts.
Select the issues you want to add
After you authorize, the Select Issues from Linear window opens with a list of your Linear projects. Issues that don't belong to a project are grouped under No project.
2. Click a project to open it.
3. Select the issues you want to add to your Knowledge Base. Each issue shows its current status, such as In Progress or Done, so you can tell finished work from active work.
4. Click Upload.
5. To add issues from another project, repeat the process and select the issues you want. Use the back arrow at the top left of the window to return to the project list, or start again from + Add Knowledge.
Your issues appear on the Sources tab with a Ready status once processing finishes.
